CONDUCTING FAIR PLAY

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS PEOPLE WHO RUN TOURNEYS HAVE THEIR
OWN "HOUSE RULES"WHEN IT COMES TO MUCKED CARDS,PLAYING A FAIR
AND GOOD PLAYING SYSTEM I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT THAT AS HOST
WE MAKE THE GAME AS FAIR WITH NO CONTROVERSY & COMFORTABLE
FOR EVERYONE SOMETIMES AS A HOST YOU HAVE TO MAKE A TOUGH
DECISION ON A HAND THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE POPULAR BUT
TO MAKE THING'S CONSISTENT I SUGGEST WE AS HOST'S TAKE OUR TIME
BEFORE MAKING A DECISION ON ANY OR ALL MISTAKES AT TABLE
ONE SUBJECT I WANT TO START WITH IS IF A PLAYER IS ALL-IN
AND THERE IS NO CALLERS BUT ALL IN THREW HIS/HER CARDS TOWARDS
MUCK AS LONG AS CARDS DON'T & I REPEAT DONT TOUCH DEAD CARDS THAT
HAND IS LIVE AND RETRIEVABLE BUT ONLY FOR ALL IN'S AND OTHER HAND
THAT IS NOT ALL-IN BUT THROWN IN TOWARDS WILL BE DEAD THAT IS A
POKERFEVER HOUSE RULE

  1. if your gonna make a weird rule out of the norm you have to state that b4 the tournament begins. In a situation where its not clear the person mucked his cards, for ex: the player appears to have mucked his cards but they didnt hit "the muck" the dealer b4 touching the cards should ask the player "did u muck ur cards?" b4 any more action accurs. If the player says yes the cards are mucked. If the player mucked his cards inadvertantly but they hit the muck, 2bad they are mucked. If a player doesnt protect his hand and the dealer grabs and mucks the cards 2bad they are mucked. What ever u decide to do in your tournament always make sure the players have been advised of your rules.
